Air Con

Hi all, i got strange problem, not sure what it is, sometimes i get smell of petrol through my aircon. does anyone know what is causing the problem. it's Gen 7 nearly 60k on the clock

Could just need regassing - my last car did the same thing after a couple of years. Ford reckoned you should have the air con regassed every two years - not sure what Toyota recommend?

could be mould in the condensor.

or put it on recirculating air and boil a kettle for 20 minutes and let the steam be sucked into the system.

Might just be a stagnant smell from not being used (unless you use it) - they say you should run air-con now & then. Could need re-gassing - I would just drop by A Toyota centre and let them take a look (they won't charge for doing that)
