Hey ppl

I have probably asked this before but i need to double check, i own a 1995 toyota corolla 1.3 16v with air conditioning, a couple of months ago my air con stopped working, checked all fuses and switches and they all seem fine no problems. now someone said it may need regassing so it is booked in for saturday morning, the only thing im thinkin is if it was something like re-gassing then wouldnt the switch still work? any help appreciated people, dont really want to spend nearly £50 on nothing, lol

the refrigeration circuit should be protected with a pressure switch which drops out the magnetic clutch on the compressor.this stops it running at low pressure and to high a pressure to protect the unit. most common problem is out of gas,
