Bye Bye To Avensis

Hi all,

Well It's finally time to say goodbye to my T3-X. I'll be sorry to see it go, but after 2 years motoring, we decided that a change was called for.

We wanted something smaller and to be honest didn't really like the Corolla much, so it's off to pastures new I'm afraid. The 'vensis is a brilliant car, and it's been very enjoyable to own it. I also have to praise my dealer, Oakmere of Northwich, for 2 years fantastic service.

One quick question. I'm taking the T-Spirit 17's off and putting the T3-X 16's back on. As I'm not a paid member of this forum, as I understand it, I can't advertise in the Selling section. Would you guys recommend eBay ? After all, it's a good package of 5 alloys (not 4) with Dunlop tyres that have only covered 6k.

Whay do you think, and how muhc should I advertise them for?

My deepest thanks to all on the board who have assisted me over the last 2 years, and I hope the Toyota Owners club goes from strength to strength.

Join TOC Bronze for a tenner... It'll be cheaper than flogging them on eBay & PayPal as the fee's usually add up to just over 10%! Half if buyer doesn't pay by PayPal. Plus, there's the warm fuzzy feeling for giving cash to TOC!

Plus nobody wants to pay a fair price on eBay. Though quite what that fair price is, I wouldn't know. Plus I'm biased as I'm after a set myself!
