Hi all,

I saw the above on ebay and i`m thinking of buying 0ne....any comments

Yes - don't even bother! ;) That thing is the biggest piece of nonsense I've seen in ages. You'd do much better to spend your £33 on petrol, or something else constructive.

The description of what it does doesn't match what they're trying to sell it as.

It's a charging stabilizer but it says that it levels out output from the Battery to maintain a steady supply to the car. So that would just be a voltage stabilizer which you should have anyway.

IMHO a waste of both time and money

I wonder if you can get a postage discount if you buy it with a 4.99 power boost chip

All alternators have a rectifier and voltage regulator built in. If you have a car with a dynamo (so that wouldn't be a celica then!), then the regulator will be an external box.
