Thanks guys! It was some day, I was chuffed to bits with the win. :D

The final was so close against the Fensport Celica. Adrian ran a 10.6 and I just pipped him at the post with a 10.4. It must be the new Lucky red/orange respray that did the trick!

I must thank Lorne and Kate again for there hospitality, very nice people.

Absolutly shattered today we did not get back to Newcastle until 12 last night.

It was good to Ken on the Sat and then John on the Sunday morning.

We ran our cars (1985 track Mk1 MR1 & the 1988 MK1 MR2 Supercharger) on the Saturday. It was quiet so we got a fair few runs in.

My first ever 1/4 mile saw me get a 16.4 with an R/T of .221 in the stock engined N/A Mk1. My best time of the day was a 16.2. All runs were pretty constant. Jo's best time in the SC was a 14.7. Nothing near the pro's but still chuffed B)

A good mate was running his RX7 on the Saturday with consistant 11.2's and then was put forward for the Pro Class on Sunday, but we discovered the seals on the rotary engine were knackered (probably back from Rotorstock) and finally gave propper stylee on his first run on Sunday :( Least he got home in the car OK

A good two days was had by all of us B) But give me a twisty track any day

Good to see some of the old faces on Sunday and to put some new faces to names. Good to have a chat with you Garrick and good to see that Dawsey made it in his tubo Corolla - shame it's diesel though Lee Also good to meet up again with Kim & Mark and Adam & Jen.
