Will There Be A Power Lost If The Back Box Is Too Big?

hello, i want to get a new back box to replace my standard one. the exit on the back box is abt 2.4 inch, just wondering will i loss back pressure? thanks

it doesn't matter about the exit being 2.4 inch, it's the inlet pipe at the rear of the backbox, and the diameter of the piping.

if you are only changing your backbox then, you'll still be running the standard pipework so you will be fine, even if the pipework on the backbox is pretty large. If your having a custom backbox made ask at the garage, usually quite a few aftermarket exhausts are restrictive rather than losing to much power, as they don't use larger pipework, or the standard pipework of the car is still being used which is narrower.

they will be able to answer any questions you have, and tell you more than I can

yr back box looks so nice with the burnt tip, wt brand is it?, i really like it

it's a powerflow backbox with a 4" burnt tip

they should do them at top gear

Yes it is a direct fit onto a 1.0 yaris, and im not sure what make it is because it doesnt have no make on it, and i thought being a powerflow, surely shudnt it have one of those large powerflow signs on the top?

not on the backboxes, but they have powerflow on the middle silencer
