Cd Title Display

I have yet to put a CD in that displays either the track title or artist, is this normal or am I missing something?

it might just be that the cd's themselves have not got the track/artist etc actually wrote in to the data

My CD text display has never worked.....can't be bothered to find out why. Surely in my collection of CD's there must at least one CD that has text encoded!

I record CD's to listen to them in the car and with Nero I put CD Title and song's titles. It works fine, no probs. By pressing TXT button I choose either CD title, song title or no text.

I've tried regular CD's and recorded and still nothing, oh well it's not like I don't know what's on the discs. Cheers everyone.
