I'm Mark aka Xero, im from auckland New Zealand and i drive a 1997 Caldina GT, 2l Beams Red Top...

Im an Illustrator and also a Graphic Designer working for myself doing renders of peoples cars, specialising in the jap import scene

Hehe, you should see where im from, i know personaly about 15 of my close mates have em, and the nz toyota forums have a couple of hundred.... there everywhere down here, lol

hey and welcome .. As Charlie said, not many Caldina's over here .. not many Red tops either :( It's the way other things with the UK, never get the good models :)

(Saw you other post is the "siggies", you'r is a touch big .. supposed to be 6-pic high ;) )

There is also a TOC Australia (link at the top of the page) .. I'm sure they'll not beat you up over there, and slightly closer to you time zone too :D But that Forum is a bit quieter and seems to be corollas mainly.

Yeah all the illustrations are one off's but all can be bought as reprints from the website through emailing us :D

Thing is - I know I wouldn't really want an illustration of someone else's car, so I was wondering if they were taken on as commissions or as part of a contract? ;)

I could do my own in Illustrator, but I've not had the time or inclination to start it properly :(

All I can say is wow... would love to be able to render cars etc... but I dont have the knowledge... or perhaps the patience ... so I stick to photomanipulation instead lol

Any ideas on pricing for doing someone's car?... I'd be interested :P
