Got a slight knocking ontop of the superstrut knock when turning at low speeds, could it be balljoint needs doings or something else?

When you say on top, Do you mean the top of the shock absorber? Could be the top mounts are shot.

sounds like its coming from around the wheel area not suspension any ideas?

Bearing? Loose wheel nut? Loose bolt in the suspension? CV?

I had a similar problem on a 1990 GT-R turned out to be the hub which needed replacing, I put new bearings in at the same time and that cured it.
