Warning Light Just Came On?

First things first ....... you reconnected the MAF sensor yeah?

The MAF sensor may have been knocked and be reading an error thats not there.

As Kevin from envy pointed out to me a while back- the ecu is a computer. What do we do with an error on a computer - we reset it!

So easiest way is to disconnect the Battery for 10mins and then reconnect. If theres a genuine error the warning light will come back on - if not it wont.

Next Id be thinking about cleaning the maf sensor with something like compressed air.

Well after listening to the induction noise...its missing that suction noise... so i'm guessing that theres too much air. how do i get about sorting out the air/fuel mixture without going to toyota? cause that will just cost too much.

have you done any of the suggestions above? listening to the noise is no way to guage if its fitted correctly!

hello there TK, we spoke on the fone lolz, yups as above what every1 else has said really, best to try disconnecting the Battery 1st, if it does come back on then clean the sensor, if it comes on again then, hmm i would take it to toyota to run it on diagnostics, had mine done last time as i had the light comin on, turns out it was the AFM
