Im looking to change over my manual 94 seo to a 5 speed to either drop a turbo 4efte or 4age blacktop into it, do you guys think that itll be worth changing over or should i just look for a manual and start over from scratch. Also if any of yous have a pricetag for the conversion itd be greatly appreciated

Best person to talk to about this swap is Tim (Sera Beetle) as he did an auto to manual swap in his sera with his new engine!

Actually I found a 5 speed paseo with the body in pretty bad condition but seeing as i have 1 in great condition the swap shouldnt be hard, guy says it just needs a new clutch but time will tell i suppose, manuals just make engine modding so much easier, not to mention more fun to drive

u'll need to change over to a manual spec ecu also!

I did Sera_beetles auto to manual conversion, and the one in my own car.

On a Sera you'll need.

5e flywheel

5e clutch

brake pedal

clutch pedal and return spring

clutch master cylinder

clutch slave cylinder

hydraulic pipework between master cylinder and slave cylinder

rear engine mount

3 holes, 1 big, 2 small, to be fitted to the bulkhead to mount the clutch pedal to the master cylinder

shifter cables

shifter

on a sera you don't need a different ECU.
