Jdm Black Rear Lights

Hi Guys,

N00b here, so hello to you all. I am after some advice.

I have a Celica 180 on a 51 plate. Recently I bought some lights off eBay (Item No: 8066083976) labelled JDM. JDM doesn't mean anything to me, they looked nice!! Anyway in the pic on the auction the indicator is orange, however now I've got them, it seems the indicator is red, U.S style.

So my question is this: Is this road legal here in the UK, or have I been conned.

If anyone wants to see a vid of the indicator flashing, I do have one, so let me know.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market and is the equipment fitted to japanese spec versions of the car, quite likely parts the we didnt get

the legality of them though i couldnt tell you, i always though orange was the colour but i have seen imported yank cars like mustangs with red indicators... trip to the MOT station and ask a few q's is the best bet :)

I'm sure i saw this on celica-club and the people who had bought them had modified them to make them legal . Swap a few bulbs and something else.....cant remeber though - Check celica-club , you'll find out there mate :D
