Coming back from Gatwick this morning, I hit some god awful traffic on the M40 northbound, got stuck for about 30 mins - not nice, especially when I was up at 4.30 this morning to take Rich to said airport - he's currently in the air on his way to Texas for two weeks....

Anyway, we started moving, and it was a rather nasty smash concerned a Carlo Blue P1 Yaris - I hope it was no-one on here. :( Front end of the car was completely missing, dunno whether they'd spun out and hit the central reservation or what, but it looked pretty totalled...

Sorry to hear about any Yaris damage..............especially Carlo Blue :) hope the driver/passengers were OK

I encountered some of the heaviest traffic yesterday also...............seems like most of the country were on the roads :(

To the trained eye:

Roof aerial, rear bumper, rear lights or model type by the wing mirrors on a P1 (amongst other things)

Well although the front end was totalled, the front lights were kind of dangling off a bit, plus it was at a dodgy angle on the hard shoulder and as I drove past, the rear lights were definitely P1 lights - I'm pretty sure it was a GS, it definetely wasnt a CDX, SR or T-Sport, I didnt see the Badge but it didnt have the alloys....

I didnt see the driver or passenger(s), as they must have been in the ambulance.

I just hope anyone involved is ok.
