Avensis Cd Player Fitting Advice Needed....

I've just brought a 99' T plate Avensis GS Auto, it has the std cassette player fitted.

I need to know if any "aftermarket" CD player will fit without too much hassle.

I understand from various sources that Jap cars have different mountings for stereos, than the 'norm' cage type....

Any help greatly received, i'm picking it up on Thurs & would like to have somthing in place to fit to it when I get it home.

It should be straight-forward matey but you'll need a wiring harness from original wiring to headunit depending on your headunit. I had a chow on with a Carina E whilst fitting a Panasonic unit with a plastic surround trim a few years back. I had to 'modify' the centre dash panel to make the trim fit but looked fine once finished. Not sure if you'll have the same problem with Avensis. Happy fitting matey!
