Ipod In Car

Hi, New here, got a 5 dorr agyo sport about a month ago :)

bought a cable so i could listed to my ipod in the car but to be honest i dont really like the look of the cable from the AUX connector showing. Has anyone do this or is there a way of fitting an iPod dock in the car and connecting in to the back of the stereo?? thinking of putting the dock just in front of the hand brake where there is a half circle money holder.!!!

and suggestions would be great thanks.

You could take the radio out, open it up and solder a cable onto the back of the aux connector then route the newly soldered cable underneath the carpet to where you want your desired ipod position, then just hit the AUX button when you want to listen to it. I am planning to do something similar when I install my xbox 360 probably.
