Hi

New to the toyota forum and need of a bit of help if anyone could be so kind to spare me 5 mins.

Problem is came out to the car today and the door mirror surround has been bashed and consequently the glass has smashed but the actual door mirror surround is in tact just glass smashed, this happened a few months back(live on close parking street) and still have glass as the surround had cracked but not the glass.

Now how do i bleeding fit just the glass onto the wing mirror surround, i see there is 2 pins for the electric door mirror but cant fathom out how to actually fit it in to the surround.

My car is a Avensis W reg 1.8 Gls

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Si

Have you tried popping the plactic rear surround panel off to give you a better view of the inside? Generally the glass is mounted on a plastic surround with locating pins which clip directly onto the electric motor arm.

I do most things myself but when I need some support I always go to

ESTON AUTOS

214-218 Eston High Street

Eston 01642 466775

Prop: Ian Buckton

(the garage is always full - they don't seem to advertise and seem to get business by word of mouth)
