Just Bought A Starlet Gt Turbo Advance

Hi,

I would just like to introduce myself as i am new to this forum.

I have recently bought a Toyota Starlet Gt Turbo Advance model for 3750, what an amazing car i read alot about these cars before i went ahead and bought it and i now understand all of the hype.

I will look forward to talking with people on the site and sharing advice.

I have a quick query which i hope someone may be able to help me with, my clutch has a really high biting point, and i am curious as to what point other Toyota starlet gt owners biting points are. I am concerned as i believe this may signify a worn clutch, any comments would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the site mate, you will be happy with the starlet, trust me, mine still makes me smile!

As for the clutch I would say it sounds like either on the way out or badly set up as mine isnt very high!

Yeah the car is awesome no complaints what so ever absolutely love it.

It was imported just over four weeks ago, and has had a hks muffler on it, HKS induction kit and a bltiz dump valve. It is also restricted at the moment and has done just over 50k miles. The clutch is a little concern as the biting point is really high so i think i will be looking at buying a new one at hte end of next month when i get paid.

Will sort some pictures of it out to post on the site aswell.
