Quick Question - Please Help

I need to get a full beam light working on the esprit, i havent had a good look at it yet but assuming its the wiring and not the bulb that is bad can i tap it into the cables for the other full beam?

Is this going to overload the system or cook the wires?

would have thought they were separate looms. If you tap two bulbs in, they'll drop in brightness ..

don't quote me, but that's what I'd have thought. Get a voltmeter on it .. and try at the bulb end, and then at the fuse box/relay end.

I'd have though a bad / corroded connector in the light housing itself (possibly the earth) would be more likely than a random break in the wire somewhere.

Whether or not you overload the wiring by patching into it elsewhere depends on the wires and how the whole system is connected up. I'd say it'd be fine normally, but it is a Lotus ;)

Turned out to be just a bulb, problem solved B)
