HI Guys,

Im in the market to get some plugs.Been ringing and lookin about but shops only seem to sell the platinum plugs for the ST185. Seen on www.gtfour.co.uk he runs copper core NGK.

Just wondering do any of you run on these, they are alot cheaper and as the man says if your giving it reg services you dont want to be wasting cash on platinum plugs if copper core ones conduct better anyway with the right heat range.

Just curious

Thanks

Depends how often you wanna be changing them beleive copper ones won't last as long.

Personally i wouldn`t bother with copper. they`ve been known to die after 5-6K under heavy use. Original platinum denso`s are good for 60K and if you want to be uber flash you could go Iridium. Same sort of mileage and similar price to platinum but supposed to give a better spark. I got my Iridium ones from Unipart for less than £20.
