Hello,

I hope you can help me finding the cabin filter on my 1999 Avensis :help: . I am in France, so it is a lefthand-steering wheel version. If by any chance you have photos of the place where it is hidden....

And yes, I have searched for previous topics, but they were not of big help... :!Removed!:

Thanks ;)

Thanks for the quick reply gazza1286 ;)

I have already read that topic. And tried to find the filtter, but I guess I have not insisted enough on looking for it. Driver's side, it is the right side, correct? Do you think I should look for it on the right side as well (passenger side for me  ).

Do you think you can explain me once again how I should look for it? :help: Or maybe you can make some photos? I would appreciate that a lot!

thanks anyway :)

On a left hand drive car the compartment is accessed on the drivers side.

It's the first time I've posted pictures - you will find them under 'Toyota'

the whole car apart in search of them darn filters.

/Edit

Yep, found it where you said it would be.

Dark grey, full of flies and dried leafs.

I cleaned it out with compressed air for the

time being and will buy a new filter soon.

These filters aren't available from anywhere other than the main dealers and eBau if your lucky :P

Not even ADL Blueprint parts do them.
