Hi.

My 1993 2.2 Diesel Turbo 4WD Lucida Estima has developed a knock in the front end which is particularly noticeable when idling with A/C on or when turning the wheel hard one way.

I had a hunch that it might be the Accessory Drive shaft from a post I read some time ago. Yesterday I removed the drip tray to take a look. I am not sure what the couplings should be like but it appears the front one has slogged out the rubber bushes as I can 'wobble' it quite a bit sideways by hand. Has anybody had experience changing these couplings? I read somewhere that the shaft and couplings and bearing housing are one unit but it looks like the couplings should be able to replaced individually. Does anyone have any advice or instructions?

Thanks. Mark.
