Aygo Vs Fox (top Gear)

hmm although the aygo lost this one, useless jose may-rhino

i still think (even though we are all biased here) that the aygo is bounds better then the fox. i mean yeh the fox is cheaper and has a bigger engine. but in terms of an all round cheap car it doesnt have the mpg to match or power from the engine as the aygo.

also it looks typically VW, a lump of metal, not real styling.

it will be interesting to see what the sales of the fox are compared the toyota PSA bunch. but one thing remains in the Aygo armoury and that is it attracts young people, and its what made me buy one and its something the fox doesnt, it reaks of uncoolness.

The Aygo certainly looks miles better design-wise than the fox did.

And they were right, I would rather watch car footy than the real thing next week.

Agreed, the Fox is terrible. Looks rubbish. That 1.2 engine seems a joke to me. The performance is poor as is the economy.

i personally think, also, that the fox is an awful looking car, and altho the aygo lost, it wasnt the car, it was the damn driver!!! :ffs:

the lupo looks much better than the fox ;) , so i think VW shouldve thought more about the replacement .

despite the fox being really slow it did seem to manouver reasonbly well, tho not better than the aygo B)
