Dear all,

I'm after some advice from forum members.

Since I've lost my beloved Previa (M-reg 150K) with an overheated engine, I'm in the market for replacement.

My budget is max £4k (at a push) for something that is M-reg or above and has about 90-100k on the clock. Its needs to last another 2-3 years and cover about 40k miles.

I've seen few in the 2K-3K range which would leave me some spare cash for any immediate repairs. (For the money I'm paying I don't expect to get a perfect Previa).

I've called a couple of ads from autotrader and both have only owned the vehicle for about 4-6 months which makes me suspicious that they are trying to sell on a problem Previa. (Of course they could be totally genuine).

When I'm viewing / test driving, are there any tell-tell signs of problems I should look out for?

Thanks, Steve

The hunt is over.

Bought a P-reg on Autotrader for £3800. Looks nice and drives well.
