The indicated jacking points for most vehicles are specifically for the jack supplied with the car. These are meant for road-side use only in the event of a flat tyre.

The jacking points are invariably positioned where (if used) there will be some minor cosmetic damage to the paint work. Avoid using them if possible

A trolley jack is the safer option (in conjuction with axle stands). A full kit is about £20 - money well spent.

Most Toyotas have a rear cup jacking point usually in the centre of the cross-member in line with the rear wheels. In the front, directly under the engine will be an engine support running from the front to the vehicle to a point roughly under the dashboard. You can safely jack a car (using a trolley jack) from here.

If you look at the sill under the car it should have 2 indents at the front and 2 at the rear. The jack sits in them to provent it slipping.
