New Battery?

I'm a bit disappointed with the SR at the moment, the drivers window rattles annoyingly when it's up, which they've said they'll change the seal that's buggered - now the passenger window squeals as it goes up and there are verticle scratch marks on it!! Hope they can do that as well.

But worse than that is it turns over slowly and takes 4 or 5 cranks to start it. The interior light dims when the hazards are on!!! And today I had the air con on for the first time and it developed a nasty misfire!!!! Is this all Battery related or something else? Do others run badly with the air con on is it just a weak engine issue? Mr T said they checked the Battery and it holds a charge etc so they won't change it.

It needs a good run!

Could be a poor earth too.

Get a check done at a half-decent garage.

I do drive 2 half hour runs on the motorway every day!! Everything else is fine except the revs drop when the cooling fan comes on and it struggles slightly, but nowhere near as bad as the air con misfire!

Sounds bad to me! Could still be a bad earth.

Try resetting the ECU by either taking the fuse out or disconnect the negative Battery terminal for 10mins. Then take it for a spin. Try cleaning the MAF sensor too (Bolted to the airbox) with some compressed air or solvent cleaner... this is a common cause of jumpy yaris.
