Clicking Aircon & Stonechips

When the aircon is on in my car I get a really loud clicking from under the bonnet,

kerby said it was the aircon, how loud is it usually as this is pretty loud,

and none of mu mums previous 3 toyotas have done this

It has just been regassed, could this cause it.

Also what is the best to use to cover up stonechips on the bonnet, I think it may be cheaper to respray the front bumper as these are quite bad, but there are only a few on the bonnet

thanks

The magnetic clutch on my aircon is overly loud, you will get used to it after a while... its functioning as it should just making a lot of noise about it.

If you pop the bonnet, start the engine with aircon on and blip the throttle whilst looking down the left handside front of the engine, you will be able to see the clutch engaging and disengaging. If the noise happens at the same time as you can see it engage and disengage thats what it will be.

Mines is the same ... but that doesnt mean that they all are. When I had my new front bumper and lip done the sprayshop had several TGs to choose from.
