Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Over the last few days i have noticed that i have had to put the A/C to to the Hi setting to get any decent air on my 53 plate t-sport. What i am wondering is does anyone else have to do the same or could it be that my aircon is running short of gas ?

This just might have something to do with the hot weather we have had for the last few days.

It has to work hard in this hot weather B) Also when was the cabin pollen filter last checked?

It’s been 30 degrees outside and I’ve had my a/c on level 4 on all my journeys. Keep your windows shut and sunroof closed and keep the sunroof shade closed as well.

Not sure about the re-circulation but I have mine on the outside air coming in (not on re-circulate)

I stick re-circ on ...... it's noisier but keeps the cold air in and doesn't mix it with the hot air from the outside

Mind you ..... now I have climate control :P ;)

I've found the same the past couple of days in the 1.3 - when it's on low setting it's quite faint, but then the in car temp is so high I'm not surprised. I don't think it's anything to worry about at all.
