Long Wait

Well I put in an order for an Aygo, basic spec red three-door, at the weekend. Just got a call from the dealer today saying it won't be ready until 5th August

Hello? That's months away ... Personally I blame Aygo football :D

I want mine before the world + dog gets theirs!

I guess this factory in the Czech Republic is the only production facility for Aygos and it is supplying the whole of Europe, so it sounds like Toyota needs to recruit a few more workers and ramp up production

Alternatively, just stop making C1s and 107s for a while Does anybody know how many they are making of each variety?

I was quoted a similar time if I wanted a C1 3dr, but only a week for a 5dr. 6-8 weeks for a red aygo, 1 week for a metallic one - both 3 doors.

On friday I got the deal I wanted and ordered a 107 3dr, in red with a rev counter. Today I got the call I'd been waiting for (no, not the toyota dealers who never ever call me back) - my car is in calais, and I take delivery in a couple of weeks. :D :D :D

I should start ordering my upgraded Speakers.

The factory output is 300 000 per year but don't know the pug / citroen / T split.

Sounds a bit of a long wait to me - mine was about a month.

My Aygo in gris oscuro mica ( metallic dark grey ) ordered in Mallorca Jan.30th & promised for March 31st has only just arrived ! for me to pick up in a week. Sport with alloys, fog lamps ( useful in Mallorca ! ? ) air-con, larger Battery, reflective jkt, 2 triangles, emergency light, 3yrs.free servicing & warranty & breakdown cover.

€ 11,475.00.Insurance €383. Hope it's been worth the wait !
