Well, we've had the Aygo since 1st April, and have done 1700 miles in it. It's excellent, thats all we can say, no real bad points, little niggly bits but nothing major.

Small things like...

rear screen flooding the inside with water when you open it,

no electric window knob on drivers side for passenger window

fuel cap

handling in the wind.

As I said, all things you can easily live with, but little annoyances.

It's my fiancee's car, and she's asked for some decent mats for her birthday. So, what recommendations do people have, I bought some nice plush mats for the mondeo that you cut the edges down to size, has anyone tried these. Am I right in thinking the official aygo mats have a cut out for that bit of floor that sticks up in the drivers footwell, if so, surely this carpet will just wear away and the rest will be protected.

If I bought some generic ones, is the aygo a match in size to the Yaris, as the mats all have car models on them, but none have Aygo.

Thanks in Advance.

Col

The mats are as you describe and the fitting hook on them has broken on mine so they are not great quality.

Whats your issue with the fuel cap - just how awkward the process is or something else ?

Yeah, the fuel cap is a pain in the **** to remove, all this clockwise then anti-clockwise rubbish, nothing simple like put in key and turn left.

But...I have to admit, i'm only moaning on behalf of the other half as I havent actually put fuel in it myself. :P So really i'm working on 2nd hand information.

Hmm, bad news about the mats being cheap, maybe i'll look into a nice set of generic mats instead of official toyota ones.

They look good as they have 'Aygo' stitched on them. I think they were about £34 the set. Happy to post up a pic if you want
