Help guys...i'm a newbie here and a complete turnip when it comes to the different spec. types of Celica GT out there....so go easy.

I am looking to buy a Celica GT and am wondering if anyone could tell me the spec./physical style differences between the GT coupe, liftback,T-sport,and facelift model...I'm so confused by this, and it probably sounds like a well dumb question to you serious petrolheads so if anyone is not too amused, offended or otherwise please post or PM me if you can with any advice or recommendations re: same.

First things first , do you know which generation of celica you want ? I guess 7 , the newest model ?

My knowledge of them is lacking slightly , i know the two engines are the 140 and the 190 simply named after the power they put out(bhp) . T-sport was a special edition in thunder grey i believe with a few minor body differences . As with most toyotas the celica is a great car , very reliable and well put together ! There are a few minor niggles with the gen7's such as the alloys made of butter it seems (corrode like a bas***d) and the boot struts or something ?

Think your getting quite confused here between all the different models of Celica over the years... What does the model you're after look like? Head lights are a good starter, are they pop-up (Gen4 and 5), 4x round ones (Gen6), or the narrow ones that come half way up the bonnet (Latest, and last G7)? Tell us this, and we can help you some more with any questions!
