Celica Convertible Advice

Hi there.. a while back I posted about not passing emissions etc. Well I replaced my

cat after trying cat clean, new sparks, just about everything etc. and then I passed.

Well I still failed my MOT. I need new alloys and they didn`t like the angle of my headlights,

my fog light swiveled, they said a brake was binding even though I just had replaced the brakes this

year and stupid things like that.

Anyway, as a refresher,

I have a black celica 95 convertible import. Low mileage (115km or so) no engine problems or anything other than below: I broke the rear glass window and have no idea how to replace it (no garages or autoglass co`s can help). Paintwork needs redoing due to stupid bird droppings destroying sheen and all. On top of that I had wanted to convert to LPG but don`t know how to get started. Hubby says just get rid of it. He doesn`t like how the seats feel. I love having a convertible but maybe he is right. I don`t like mots and am thinking of buying or leasing a new car. Although I have to say that driving with the top down is such a thrill and being able to haul

large objects in the rear seat with the top down is like having a trailer.

Any idea given all of this on how much it is worth? Anything close to 5k?

ps. how can I convert to LPG if I decide to keep it and who does it for the least amount of money.

Thanks.

Cindy

From what you are saying I would hazard a guess at around £2k max

You are saying you are selling an 11 year old MOT failure, which needs a respray and a window which is hard (therefore expensive) to replace. You also say that you use the car like a trailer which probably wont help with selling it

LPG probably isnt worth it - it will cost atleast £1000 and will take many miles to recoup the costs.

people people people........learn...if a bird s**ts on your car , wash it off  it looks terrible and messes up your paint :)

p.s i dont know anyone who would pay even 2k for a mot failure which might need a new hood :( and a re-spray , gonna be hard to match 11 year old paint ! sorry
