I have no recent ones, ill take some tomorrow and put them up.

I pay EUR2200 a year, third party fire and theft, 2 years NCB, not sure about the insurance group, i just rang them up and asked would they insure me on this, gave them all the details that it was an import sprinter trueno and they gave me a quote. I started off trying an Altezza RS200 but received the usual response, not until you're 25, they wouldn't even insure me on a Glanza V. Probably cause they have to pay out every few days to some Glanza owner who just had his car robbed.

hi m8 am also 18 and i have a levin ae111 bz-r and i also have a starlet gt turbo , anyways the insurance is okay on the levin i am payin 1400 for the levin and 1100 for the starlet gt.

for a novice driver i would say go for the supercharged levin as it would be easier to drive fast but if you know how to drive a car then the 20v is the faster car.

mines has a few mods like 4 branch manifold, full exhaust system , filter, and once i learned how to drive it properly i have no probz keeping up with my m8s 235bhp integra dc5.

Ignorance is no excuse. Your insurance is void if you are in an accident. Did you tell them its a Japanese Import? They know exactly what the car is, its your job to make sure you insure the right car.

Yes i told them it was import, i am not ignorant, the car is registered with the DVLA as a toyota corolla coupe, which is what they call it, also i meant the insurance company doesnt know the exact power it puts out, its registered as a 1.6 and it is so how is it my fault huh?

I'm just going to have to repeat myself.

How is it your fault?

Its your job to make sure you insure the right car. If you had a Starlet Glanza V, would you insure it as a naturally aspirated Starlet? No, only unless you want your insurance to mean nothing if you're in an accident. Also, by stating the word 'fault' you're admitting you know it's not right.

The insurance company doesn't know?

They know exactly what your car is. You either tell them it is a Corolla Levin or a Sprinter Trueno, depending on the model, you have a JDM Corolla Levin from what I see, so thats exactly what you tell them.

It's water off a duck's back to me. I'm just trying to tell you what will happen when/if an insurance assessor comes out to view the accident and/or the cars involved.
