Are My Bushes No Longer Bushing?

Erm... how do you know when bushes are going because my car has started making some not so nice noises on the bumpier roads...

It makes a sort of metallic clinking at the front and amost a grind at the back (back is usually only with people in the back)

It's driving me mad! Also, i'v started getting a tiny grinding noise when braking... could be discs on way out? 50k miles (last 20k semi-rough!)

If im needing new bushes, discs and MOT this month then boy am i gonna be skint!

The other 1.0 yaris had a 80,000 mile service yesterday. It needed new pads and discs as well as bushes on the.... i cant remember, something like roll bar. You see them behind the wheel when you put full lock on.

Came to £400 with a smart card. Still need to have the rubber seal on the front drivers side window replaced though. Anyone know how much more that will be?

If you turn your front wheels on full lock you can see your anti-roll bar bushes and if they are split they'll need replacing. Bushes cost something daft like £1 each and just get someone to fit them, I think you could even attempt it yourself!

I could tell mine were going because it wasn't as sure footed as it used to be in the corners!

Yeah, I can see the bushes, and they're a little worn, but i wouldn't say fully split... it's got the knocking though and has recently been a little unsteady in the corners... i'll get it checked at MOT.
