Mystery Button

[GT4-D]

Hi guys,

I have a JDM ST185 and i have noticed a button on top of the cowling behind the steering wheel. It says on and off and then aload of jap writing. I've pressed it aload of times but i can't see what it does.

Hoped it would turn the misses off when shes gets in it, but it don't do that either. :D

Does anyone know?

Ahhh. The mysterious OMFG button. Think you`ll find that when you switch it on THIS happens in your rear view mirror. :D

i havent a clue but could it turn the passenger air bag on/off (if it has one?)

Nah. No airbags in the gen 5. Thats why we got ejector seats. :D

Thanks for that, now i know when i come up to a zebra crossing i don't have to stop, i can just jump straight over them.

No that did'nt work. The only jump it did was when i left the curb after mounting it when i realised that it would'nt even clear this old ladies shopping bags. :D

Ive got a similar button which is for the front fogs (after various investigations!)

I found this same button the other day unfortunately i figured out it does something very boring.... it disable and enables the tilty steering wheel thing (the one that make it pop up when you take the key out) Its supposed to make it easier to get in and out. Instead it just confuses mechanics and makes them consider failing the MOT

Is it not camoaflage mode, the cloaking device fitted to the JDM model?

If not try the rear fog light if it's not the key thingy mentioned
