As Ian says it's not a case of one owner being the same as any others, for the TOC guys who spent some time with the LOC crowd or vica versa I think a weekend of fun was had by all.

A few of the LOC guys were very impressed with some of the TOC cars and angain Vica Versa...

dont get me wrong, i had a belter of a weekend. it just annoyed me that our cars were sniggered at because they didnt cost a bomb.

if your on about prices I would be surprised if mine wasn't cheaper than the starlet turbo's still as the mr2's can be under 3k.

At the end of the day as I've said before it's not the price of the car that matters it's the love and attention it recieves from its owner. The large majority of club members recognize this fact.

One thing that pleased me at JAE was the fact we had Previa's, Cladina's and Crown's on the stand which are preceived as noon-sports models but at the same time are as much a part of this club as anything else.

Toyota Owners Club is not about modded cars but the Toyota Brand in it's own right and a home to all those that love the brand.

thats exactly how i percieved it.

thats why i got the ump when the lexus people came over and started.

simon got a trophy for how well his car is looked after. so those lexus boys who did pass comments cann kiss my grits, sir.

but there was a few, dunno who (not too up on the boys over at your place), who started taking the jimmy out of the starlets, and didnt like when they were told that their cars were slower. so retaliated with the "mine cost more" thing, ask Starlet Nath and StarletSi, they were both there. im not making it up to start a row. it just annoyed me. got nothing against you lot though.

coz the US CT12s spool up faster

i think the 700bhp we were aiming for will be reasonably easy to achive....especially with the HKS Type R intercooler
