Pre-facelift Front Indicators

I am well aware of the difficulties finding clear front indicators that will fit pre-facelift gen6's. Does anyone know if these will fit? Or has anyone bought the same? The picture looks wrong but the description claims to be correct.

Cheers,

Hi Ben,

If the picture is indeed correct, they will not fit. As you probably noticed yourself, the pre-facelift front indicators are more round in edges. I have also been looking for similar clear indicators, but no luck this far..

Hope this helps!

No they definately wont fit - the only option is to make them yourself or buy just the lenses and fit and replace the old with the new. I bought the lenses and fitted them myself, explains how to do it HERE

THIS is where you can get them, email Richard, a nice guy and quality product.

Cheers guys. Idealy I would buy them from protocast but at £74 a pair I wanted something a bit cheaper. Just thought as the listing specifically stated the dates of the pre-facelift model, they might fit and the wally posted a generic picture.

Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Oops, sorry, wrong thread. Same subject though.

i prefer my black indicators to the clear ones... and all it cost me was a bit of paint and time

I would paint them black but I don't think it would work on a GT as the indicators are not recessed like the GT4 so cannot pass them off as vents. Anyway, many more important jobs for me to do in the meantime.

could always try something different... like painting them silver.. then yours will dissapear like chris's

If you dont like it, it doesnt matter as you were going to buy the clear ones and chuck the orange ones anyway;)
