Debadged the car just before JAE, most of the glue came of except in a few places :(

then someone at JAE told me use some tar remover, so i went and got some Turtle Bug and Tar remover yesterday, sprayed the patches, waited a minute and 1 wipe with a cloth and virtually all the glue was gone.

Thanx mate  sorry i cant remeber your name but i'm crap at remembering things like that.

One thing tho, the tar remover wont remove the tar spots on the car , how do i get them off?

surinder...

Ironic that isn't it? Maybe we should suggest them re-packaging it as glue remover... lol

Personally I *carefully* scrape tar spots off with my nails then use that tar remover stuff, seems to be good at removing the marks rather than the lumps of tar. Takes forever though. I'm considering not driving my car anymore and therefore negating the need for it :D

and use the tar remover stuff, but warm the tar with a hair dryer first... if that dont work then use nail varnish remover, but wash it off sharpish afterwards,

You could always get one off those heavy duty car covers, and cut out two holes :lol:

always find wd-40 is pretty ace on the old tar spots, you'll need to leave it on for a min or two then just rub off.

my current car is black so you can't really see tar spots but my last one was red and when you'd spray the spot you could see the run off wd-40 turning brown :lol::lol:
