i normally stop and chat to them for a bit... but i was so fed up i just looked at them and then cycled off. im starting to get ****** off now!

They have your car , they have your turbo.........put them together already . I'd be starting to look for another place to have it towed too , someone whos going to do the job and do it before christmas .

Have you checked to make sure their not waiting for something from you?? Or are they just really busy? :(

Could always nick the bosses supra and say they can't have it back till they sort yours, probably find it's done by the weekend then

I told them what i thought and then said i need my car for a long journey im doing on thursday! so now they are getting a move on and hes even staying in sunday (when they are normally closed) to do their best to get it done by then. I recon it will be done by thursday now ;)

Right... Its booked in to be trailored over to the exhaust garage on friday. It just needs the heat wrap, ecu fitting, ecu mapping. Which will be done sunday. But i leave for My holiday Sunday... so im leaving the car at WP for the 2 weeks.... i figured it will be safer there as its being watched 24/7 and it means they dont have to rush finishing it off.

Will give me something to look forward to for when i come back :D

I Land back in England on monday 31st at about 9:30am... will probably have collected it by 10:30 :P

The next post i make about my car will be to say i have it back :D

But yes i came back to find my car isnt done! :censor: :censor: :ffs: This time the fault of another garage. sorry to cut and paste but if you can be bothered to read this :P it explains what happened:

basically.... wp said it would be ready for me to drive away the day i got back...and it seems they were on track until the exhaust place made a mess of things

basicall i came in and the wp manager told me what had happened at the exhaust garage (that my car was trailored to at the start of last week)

BUT SAID HE WANTED ME TO HEAR IT ALL FROM THE EXHAUST GARAGE IN CASE I THOUGHT HE WAS MAKING IT UP (doh caps lok) so i spoke to the exhaust co. guy on the phone...and.. there are 2 guys who do the exhausts... 1 does real hard specialist jobs/3" systems and is a master... 1 does your average fiesta exhaust.... wp called tham and they said that my car could go in. (wp not knowing the good guy was on holiday)

so basically the younger guy didnt quite realise that it was such a specialist job but thought he would have a go (never attempted 3" b4)... and did it on the 2 poster ramp with susp hanging... 1st he warped the turbo flange... then he did the rest of the system while they waited for a new flange. meanwhile the expert guy comes back and said "what the hell are you tossers doing"... lowered the car to the floor and the rear arm crushed the exhaust he ripped the whole system off my car!

the expert guy then explained to me he is starting it again from scratch... but at the moment the ramp my car has to go on (4 post) has a cobra on it... and they cant move the car even 1 inch until it is done or it will mess up the job.... so as soon as the guy finishes the cobra mine will go straight on and be done by the pro (who does all their 3" systems) and will take 2 days to make and fit

then when its done it will be trailored back to wp and the manager promises me that no matter what is going on... the day mine comes back into the garage it will take priority over everything else and be done straight away on the same day and be 100% finished

so now i gotta wait for the cobra 2 b finished... then my exhaust... then staright back to be mapped

the wp manager/owner said the last cobra took them 4-5 days to do the exhaust :( but the cobra exhaust was in progress when i spoke to them on tuesday morning.

everything else is done. wp even lagged the CC which i didnt ask them to do :) and because the pipe going from the CC - turbo didnt line up properly with the new turbo they welded it to line up perfectly

At least they've admitted it and been honest about everything. fingers crossed you'll have it back around the end of next week or so then. It'll all be worth it in the end assuming you haven't forgotten how to drive :P :D

I'm currently waiting on the case reviewers to get back to me with a settlement offer for my insurance payout, they recon it should all be sorted and I should have the cheque(or it'll be in the post) by the end of next week. I'll believe it when I see it...

Oh yea and let us know what kind of job they do of the mapping, opinions seem to be split on thors mapping abilitys at the moment so would like to know how other companies fair...
