Yep. Thats a Turbo. And the exhaust seems awfully exhaust like. It`s horrible when you see them like that - half built. But it is certainly coming together. Speaking of which. Make sure they actually put all the manifold bolts back in. I`ve got a feeling this engine/car is going to be fricking awesome.

sorry havent had chance to come on here since.

I got there at 4pm friday and left at 6... not 2 hours later... 14!!!!

Couldnt get it started for a while due to injectors, but that was solved after a while.

Got it onto the dyno at 12midnight, and mapping took 5 hours.

The reason they stayed open so late to do it is because they are closed for a week now, and i wasnt waiting another week!!!!

The Dyno session went very well. The car has been setup at 325bhp with over 330 torque this is at only 1 bar boost. The reason the figure is lower than i wanted is greg didnt have time to sort a few issues out with the AVCR boost controller..... My car is going back in in 2 weeks and he is going to set it up at 1.2bar and is very confident it will run over 350bhp which will be safe on stock internals :D charge temps were great aswell :D

But for now it feels !Removed! fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say Paul Weston is a great bloke. While waiting he gave me and my mate £20 to order a take away, then gave me a free oil change to mobile motorsprt (usually £50+vat), and said because i have waited so long he is going to have my car back one day in september and replace all the hoses with samco etc. completely free oh.. and he gave us both a free mini dump valve keyring each.. which made this whole thing worth it lol

1 more issue i have is the exhaust has a very annoying rattle... but i understand that the car was not running and could not be tested by the fitters..... but it will be put right soon ;)

Im very impressed with the torque figure as i expected that to be around 300, but its at 330 already with more to come in 2 weeks

Yes it was worth the wait! :) im not sure what 0-60 time would be, not gonna try launching it on stock clutch as i think i will melt it with this much torque but i recon i could make mid 4 second 0-60.

one of the last things greg said to me before a left the garage:

"with forged pistons, a FMIC and clutch, it will be an 11 second car"

Wouldn't mind seeing the dyno printout if you've got it, that torque figure sounds great. Always knew it would do well :D , stuart on the oc has the same tubby ad is running over 400 ponies still with the chargecooler

:D yeah its all going well :D im soooo glad i didnt use that xs turbo in the end, that karl off the OC modified it absolutely loads to get it working properly and it only made 320bhp without any real potential for much more blows hot air in creating high charge temps greg said he saw charge temps of 70 with it

Sorry the printer isnt working at WP at the moment. They said i can go in for it when its fixed... and it will have the run i did last year on the same sheet so you can compare the difference :D
