Noticed while washing my 2003 T3-X that the paint on one of my wheels has started to flake off. Has anyone else had this problem and has Toyota replaced them under warranty?

I noticed too (T4 7 spoke wheels), though because I bought my car second hand wasn't sure if the first owner had damaged it in someway. Alloy wheels look like white ceramic beneath the silver paint? - Perhaps it's a kinda white enamel finish, same on T3-X wheels?

I just painted it over with silver paint.

Thanks for your comments. My car's in for a service next week and so I'll mention it, as the warranty's up in September.

Got my car serviced today, £165 for interim, but also got the alloys checked and Toyota will replace all four under warranty. I thought I'd be lucky if they replaced the one alloy I spotted with corrosion, but they said all four were starting to corrode. Well done Mr. T! However ridiculous price for oil: 5 litres at £7.95 per litre.

Yep, my nearside front alloy is on its way out too. With any luck they will replace all four of mine. ;)

Go the whole hog and get new wheel nuts too as they are even more susceptible to corrosion :D . My brother-in-law managed it on his 2004 04 t3-x so why not us?!
