English fans in Germany watching the World Cup are drinking the country dry. In Nuremberg 70,000 of them drank 1.2 million pints between them making an average of over 17 pints each. This is brilliant

Yeah, the best thing about it is there have been no reports of major violence (yet). I know the police work really hard to keep the troublemakers away from football tournaments because they turn up to have a load of fights while watching a bit of football, nearly all of the people who are out there now are just there to watch the football & have a good time without fighting. Just shows that sometimes the English can get bladdered without having a riot.
