This month's issue of Practical Classics magazine has now included the data for the mk111 turbo in the buyers guide. Here follows the current data see if you agree?;

Made CC MPH 0-60 MPG COST(condition 1)

MK11 '82-'85 2795 126 8.1 24 2000

MK111NA '86-'93 2954 136 7.5 22 2500

MK111Turbo '86-'92 2954 142 6.1 22 2750

That should put the donkey amongst the hairdressers!

I personally think that the MPG is optimistic!

We didn't have the Turbo model till 1989, so they ballsed that up :D and the 0-60 is a bit optimistic.

MPG seems fine for an average, price for a minter about right.

MK2 price seems a little low, like to see a few for that sort of money
