Problem With Over Boost (but Unsure) Lol

i am new to this forum, could someone please help!!!!

i have a toyota celica gt4 uk version st185, i have got a problem been advised that it is with over boost but i am not sure if this is the problem.

i can drive the car for about 2-3 miles and everything is ok, but then after that, the boost needle goes to zero and the car suddenly dies the management light then comes on. once you take your foot off the accelerator and the boost is not needed the car runs ok. i have fitted a new boost solenoid located on the os of the bulkhead also a second hand (origional) adjustable boost control with the sensor (also mounted on the bulkhead). i have also fitted all new vacuum pipes, taken off one by one - hence not to get them mixed up. but the problem still persists.

can anyone help me as this is really p***ing me off now

buy fit or borrow a boost gauge , this will tell you what psi you are pushing out.

you could try turning the boost down via your adjustable boost control with the sensor
