Toyota Corolla Jdm Version

firstly I would like to say hello, as i am a new member here and i just got my new car. Before i used to have Mitsu Colt and now got corolla. I am from cyprus and my corolla is an import one from japland, its 1,5 btw.

here are couple of pics of it (better pictures will be posted next week or so, when ill get my system installed)

and yeah im aware of the 'ghey' lexus style lights in the back, im not a fan of lexus lights myself though they look very well with the chrome door handles and the bootlid handle plus after fitting the 17" rims with polished lip i thought they look nice :) next 2 weeks, the car will get a 15" sub, 7" screen and playstation 2 slim, new front grille (just a thin frame with thin mesh) and after that lowering springs :) hope u like it at least a little bit.

oh yeh my mom got the european version corolla same shape as mine, in kind of greenish grey color, and my dad bought himself an MR-S recently too :) so quite a toyota family we are :P

Also in the 4th picture I see a reflection of a yaris, your street is turning into a Toyota show room

hehe thanks for the warm welcome mate! :) yeh i got toyota's all around my house next house down got 2 corollas heheh. concerning chrome bits, to be honest when i saw them i hated them formthe first second but after the wheels and lights went on it started to look better, well at least not tooo bad if u get what i mean :)

oh and about mr-s to be honest im in love with it, but as daily driving i much prfer my corolla, much more comfy to get in and out hehe btw with mr-s for those who know there is a small trick, its a 2002 model, JDM version too but the front and back lights are form the 2004/5-2006 european version :D

do you know what the main difference between the JDM and Euro spec corolla is? other than one was made in japan and the other was made in derby!

thanks again, im now thinking that i should have not posted my dad's car pics, it gets all the attention hehe

concerning the diffrences: jdm got diffrent front end, diffrent headlams and bumper, the dash board is diffrent, but now the newer models of euro version have same dashboard, older ones, like my mom's 02 had diffrent dashboard. and the engines, jdms come with 1,5 and 1,8 ltrs and euro got a whole range i believe. not many radical diffrences but there are small bits and bobs :)

i was in cyprus 2 weeks ago, beatiful place! saw a lot of nice cars aswell, and a lot of integras! and a lot of swedish people!! :D

im guesing u been in ayia napa then, this year there is tooo many swedes much less of english people, yeh people here are nuts about tuning and integra's along with civics is the main object hehe

yea went to ayia napa with my mates for a 'chilled' holiday after our exams, was shocked to see that many swedes there! but we werent complaining coz they are all very nice people! :D

I live down in Paphos. Do you know the guy from Aradippou that has a Blue Vitz RS Turbo? Really nice car. I was up in Ayia Napa / Paralimni the other week for a Yaris club meet, maybe we'll meet up one day

haha Lefkios? i know that guy, not big friends but we know each other we got common mates, my other mate is in yaris club too, he drives a white 4dr yaris with chrome rims and small bodykit, his name is Mike, u kight seen him. would deffinately be cool to meet up, i been in paphos last week with mates for coupel of days hehe btw u simply live in Pafo or u r in an english base?
