Just wondering what type of oil to buy for topping up my 1996 XLi petrol. Are any of the new engine cleaning oils compatible (so to speak) with an old 1996 xli? Or can someone advise a perfect oil type?

Castrol gtx magna-tec 10w-40

That'll do the job all well n good... :yes:

10w-40 semi or 5w-40 fully if you want to traet her!
