First Mod For The 4

Just took delivery this morning of an RPS Sports Street Series clutch :)

Got it as part of a group buy on GT4OC from SRB Power. Getting it fitted the weekend after JAE so will see how it performs after then :D

Have a look at the springs in the friction plate. or rather lack of them. Looks like rubber blocks. It`s going to be a bit harsh on the take up methinks.

It should take more torque and will stand upto the abuse more than a Toyota one ;)

Out of interest, who are you insured with?

I'd be chasing them every couple of days, they need kicking up the ubik to get anything done :)

Elephant, they where the cheapest by about £150, to be fair to them they were waiting on the police sending their report in till start of this week. Been phoning them about 3 times a week so far last time was tuesday when they confirmed they'd finally receive the police report.

Gonna give em a call today see whats happening.

Turns out that they can't read now. The letter they received the other day that I was told was the police report was infact a letter saying that they hadn't finished it yet :censor: :censor: :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

So now I'm waiting again :ffs:

Typical insurance company. Quick enough to take your premiums, but slow as you like when it comes to claims.

I don`t think it matters greatly which provider you are with. it`s an industry wide problem.

Elephant were great with me TBH , I had my prelude with them . I wrote it off and they paid out within a few weeks . I paid £3600 (96"p") and got £4800 off them for it !! was a beaut though :( They couldn't beat direct-lines quote on the celica or i'd be still with them

I do get the feeling that if it wasn't for waiting for the police report everything would have been sorted by now. Still annoying though :ffs:
