Timing Belt Air Scoop?

Annotated diagram of an ST205 engine...what on earth does the timing belt need a scoop for? I cant think of a reason?

Coz the chargecooler blocks the airflow to that area and the turbo pumps out a hell of a lot more hot air than the 3s-ge

Where did you get the photo from, thats a lot of time, ir it may be a reflection of may paitshop skills but would have taken me ages.
