Well they fit  as in there's enough space for them, but their not a direct swap for the Gen 6 seats as they have different mounts.

You'll need to get an adapter made up or modify the existing mounts to fit, not sure exactly what needs to be done as they where fitted by the previous owner who made the modifications himself. But then he does work as a metal fabricator so quite handy in that area :D .

But hey how hard can it be :D

To be honest im after either putting in 99 spec GT seats, the ones with the red fleck or leather if i can find them.

See my 4 hasnt got bucket seats.

Did some gt4's come from the factory with recaro's, sure ive seen one for sale once with factory fit recaro's in. Looked nice. How rare are these?

tbh i quite like my ordinary GT seats, they grip you quite well and are comfy. Gen7 seats do not grip you at all so are complete rubbish when going round corners fast :P you will just slide off them

The problem i`ve found with my standard seats is the weight. No gripes with the comfort level or the way they hold you. I want to get some aftermarket ones, but tbh the quality of the ones i`ve seen so far has been somewhat hit and miss. Looks like i might have to spend some serious money. Which unless some fall out of the sky, or i win the lotto, means having to wait. Very frustrating.

205 and 185 have the same seats then?

They`re pretty similar. Obviously updated a tad. But i`ve sat in both and they both support in the same way, Gen 6 ones support the shoulders a little better, same controls & mechanisms. The Gen 7 ones appear to be a completely different animal.
