Having Trouble Finding Tyres!?!?!

I'm looking for a 245/50/16 as one of the tyres on the Supra is illegally bald. Fair enough it wasn't as bad as what I was driving the mr2 with, but hey... I don't want to get stopped and fined etc, etc.

Having loads of trouble finding a tyre this size. My local garage (who are usually top notch), can only get a Nankang in that size. Another local place can get a federal in that size (average tyre, had them on the mr2 and were fine), but their supplier are out of stock!!!

I don't want to spend £200!! which is what I was quoted for one tyre from somewhere (can't remember the make).

Anyone got any ideas???

Thanks!!!

PS : It's supposed to say finding ... not finsing tyres!! lmao ....

They are the one's I had on the '2, pretty crap tbh.

The one's on my Corrado are nankang's but the range toppers and so far they seem pretty good, very sticky

Nankang ns-2's are ones I have

well the tyre place along the road can get federals cheap as (what was on the mr2), but none in stock.

Need a rear tyre pronto.

Just checked again.. the tyres at £51 were Kumho KH18's and were what is known in the trade as De-Mounts (tyres that were fitted to rims for a factory order and were surplus to requirements and returned to the manufacturer) these are now sold out.. the next cheapest is Kumho 712 @ £79
