Hey all!, i'v been trying to join for a while now and have just been able to now.

I'm Matty from the UK, I'm only 17 but have had a 3door Aygo Sport, 55 plate (ice blue) since January. Got it bought for my before i got my licence and passed my test in march. (not that you's want to know just thought id share my life with you ppl)

So far iv done about 7000 miles in it and have noticed a few annoying things about it, such as the seats that don’t go back easily, the lack of space, the gear stick and the sound system and the wipers lol.

But not complaining that much I love my Aygo and couldn’t even think about driving anything else.

Just recently started modding it too which is fun but abit expensive and frustrating. So far i have replaced the whole gear leaver and gator, replaced the front Speakers with some alpine ones and also put sum stickers on it (not that that’s really modding) and also bought the side protection mouldings.

Iv had a new cd player and a sub and amp package but the cd player 1) wouldn’t fit without a facia and 2) looked rubbish so I’m keeping the stock one and the sub package took up the whole of the whole boot so I took them both back.

What i have planned is i have a equalizer on order like a few of you ppl have done and im building my own custom 10" sub box to try and keep as much room as possible in the boot and am going to try and wire in an amp under the drivers seat (cos that never moves). Also plan the get the rear and back windows tinted and get sum 16" fat 5 sporks put on and get it lowered a little bit.

Any comments or advice would be much appreciated! Thank!.

will put sum picks up off it asap.

Yea, like nice cd player and it looked nice on its own, but just the orgional cd player fits nicely and im trying to mod to look nice, and the cd player isnt that bad, only wanted it for the pre amp anyway but iv overcome that problem with the equlaizer.

What vinyls are u getting put on? post some pics when you can!

bring some pictures bro! btw.. the original cd player looks nice, but does not read MP3 and has a very poor power out.. I changed mine and do not regret it! the sub.. why not a compact one?

how much did they cost and where did you get them done at? id love sumit like that on mine! i should of got one of the £800 custom paint jobs that you can get. oh yer has anyone got the leather seats in their Aygo?

and yea the cd player is underpowered but it shouldnt be too much of a problem with the equlizer cos thats gunna power the Speakers instead of the cd player.

Yea id love to get them done, but all the car shops where i live are rubbish, just have motormania and Halfords and they are both useless for getting stuff fitted. Halfords couldnt even work out how to take the head unit out, they just tryied to pull it out and chipped abit of the dash in the process. :ffs:

But yea my Halfords isnt a ripspeed one so they know nothing about anything. And less said about Motormania the better.
